We spent the weekend camping and hiking at Mt. Rainier. The kids had a blast and I was pleasantly surprised to not only survive this trip, but really, really enjoy it! We checked out the Ohanapecosh hot spring on the first day and then on the second day we hiked up to Silver Falls and then over to The Grove of the Patriarchs. Plus, we did all of the regular fun camp stuff like making s’mores, roasting veggie hot dogs over the camp fire, finding special sticks…burning everything they could get their hands on! The kids enjoyed the fire a little too much! Such a beautiful place…we will definitely do this again, there’s so much more to explore!!!
