We're not off to a good start today. Joshua had a high fever early this morning and has a rash all over his body. He is having a reaction to the ATG that has been prescribed. He is having his third and final dose right now. He will probably have a sever reaction since that is usually how it goes. Hopefully not for him though!
Also, I had a group of doctors come in this morning to inform me that the night nurse had made an error and gave him another patients meds last night. He's ok, we're very lucky. But, the trust is broken....I just don't know how I can really know if he's getting the correct meds (he gets soooo many)! I'm getting a list of the things he will be receiving for the next few days to help me keep track and have asked that his name be read off to me from the sticker on each new IV bag.
