It is so nice to be home!!! The best part is having privacy again! At the hospital there was a constant stream of people coming in all day and night. Sure, they are just doing their jobs, but it gets annoying after a while..and you have to be nice about it even if you don't want to! I guess that also added to my frustration because it was one more thing that I didn't have control of. Little things like sleeping at night, eating/serving meals, bathing, having an uninterrupted conversation...all subject to the "knock and barge". Ah, home...no doorbell and Caller ID. I might be unreachable for a while!
It has been amazing to see Joshua's labs improve so rapidly! His platelets were up to 149 at yesterdays clinic visit. Almost normal! I bet it will be in the 200 range tomorrow.
