Today is our first day back to "normal" life. Todd has gone back to work, finally! The kids and I went to the clinic for Joshua's check up. Things are looking good. I met another family who are at the very beginning of the whole diagnosis and treatment process. They seemed very frustrated with the doctor (who happened to be our doctor) and the system. We went through that too, but it seems like ages ago! I talked with them about their situation and tried to answer their questions based on our experience. Luckily, I had brought some literature to place in the wait room because they have absolutely nothing in there for us (just cancer). I hope it helps!
And, our landlord has not sold the property, as far as we know. He just wanted to come over to discuss plans for continuing his landscaping project...which included us staying in a hotel. Not a good idea for Joshua right now, it's too soon post transplant (for both)!
