1 Year Check-Up
Today was a huge milestone for us! Joshua’s transplant doctor, Dr. Kurre, has stopped Joshua’s medicine. YES!!! And, he can now be released from our hem/onc doctor at Children’s and back to the care of a regular pediatrician. That means Joshua only needs to be seen ONCE per year (at Doernbecher) for follow-up. On this exact day last year, we were checking in to the hospital for Joshua’s first day of chemo…my beautiful boy has come such a long way!!!
